Who is AJ Pickett

His name is Robert Paulson.
No?

I am what you would call, an avid role player and geek.

I work in a laboratory, processing tissue and extracting DNA for analysis.

I am a sculpture artist, I use a lot of mixed media and found/recycled materials, as well as plastics, polymers, plasters, clays and cardboard.

I create my own table-top terrain for role playing games, the primary Role Playing Game (RPG) I play at the moment is Fantasy Adventure Gaming Engine (AKA Fantasy AGE, FAGE or FA).

I have a Youtube channel under my own name www.youtube.om/user/ajpickett  which I call "The Mighty Gluestick", because I have some crafting videos in there and they involve using a lot of the aforementioned sticks of glue.

I also have a cat, it may not always be the same cat, but generally speaking, I am found in the company of a cat of some description. Cats and I function well together. I give the cat food, and the cat eats the food, its a perfect system.

This blog is about my day to day thoughts, plans and ideas. I will discuss ideas for games, movies, art and crafts. I will post things that can be used in RPGs, such as traps, treasures, spells, lairs, weapons, conversions, dungeons and any handy tools I find online. I may often just talk about crap going on in my life, or write something purely to amuse myself.

Its probably going to be a mixed bag, so hold onto your shit.

Oh yes, this blog will feature adult concepts, words, expletives, esoteric ponderings, advanced sciences, high energy weapons design, space travel, dimensional travel, psychic phenomena, alien civilisations, excessive violence, hot glue and cooking recipes.

You have been warned.

Back to crafting

So I have been very occupied over the last few months, setting up online games, starting and planning new tabletop games, making monster ecology videos for youtube and moderating a popular crafting forum.
So busy, have I been, that some of my crafting projects are sitting gathering dust, and let me tell you, I do not have room enough to spare for that!
So, I shall crack on and get back to making excellent print and paste 2.5D dungeon tile sets.

Stay tuned!
